7/20/2006 The Show Saturday the 20th is at Sound World in Lacrosse. Jason Klinkner said he's got another good local turnout already gearing up for the show. ! Hope to see you all there to support the retailers that stepped up this year to support us, cause this will be the last show of the year for Sound World!!!

7/18/2006 "Uncle Don" or Don Otto is one of the coolest guys I know. Whenever he has a chance he trys to make it to our shows, and I am happy for that. Uncle Don is a 60+ year old that loves this sport just as much as anyone, and when he is out he dose nothing but try to help grow it. Thank you Don and I hope you start feeling better so you can go to more shows!!!!!!

7/18/2006 We are having quite a bit of team support at the shows!! That is awsome!! I think I have seen so far, Sound Mekanix SPL Design Team, Team 200, Advanced SPL , Project dB, and Team Clam Hammer. If I'm forgetting anyone let me know!!!

7/16/2006 Best Buy had a great show, and to go with that great show we have to have a great competitor!! I think this is one of the first shows Terry Myadze has been at, but is sure looks like hes got it down pat so far, check out his page!!

7/16/2006 Best Buy in Fond du Lac had its first taste of what dB Drag / Bass Race was on Sunday!! We had 31 cars and boy it was another schorcher of a day, we want to thank Best Buy and the support they gace us at this show. Hope to see them supporting us again next year!!!

7/15/2006 Auto-dynamics had its first dB Drag / Bass Race Show ever, and we had a great tiem!!! It was very hot, but the 14 strong that showed up put on quite a show, it was also nice seeing Kurt from Extreme Audio out too!!

7/13/2006 Have you seen how LOUD Wisconsin has gotton??? I can't believe it either!!!! Well one things for sure, when you hear people talking about their buddy with the loudest stereo in Wisconsin you can say PROVE IT!!! (unless of coarse his buddy is Matt or Corey from The Radio Doctors)!!!

7/12/2006 Sundays show will be at Best Buy of Fond du Lac Wi on 7/16/2006. Best Buy is known wolrdwide and they are hoping to get into the dB Dag scene more. Well they picked a good way by haveing a show!! Hope to see you competing there!!!

7/9/2006 All I can say is WOW!!!! SAY IT WITH ME "EXCLUSIVE COMPANY!!!!!" Derek and John sure know how to put on a show!!! 43 Cars and alot of sunburn later, and Wisconsin saw one of its largest dB Drag /Bass Race Shows. If you missed this show, you missed quite a show!!! Lets see where do I start, Side pots galore, demo cars, manufactures support, out of state competitors, Don Kieths extreme car present, but still the loudest car of the day was a street car!!!! Anyways I can't wait to see what Derek has up his sleve for next year!!

7/8/2006 Mike Bouziane brought out his 1998 Jettas today to the Raxx Janesville show ready to kick up some sounds, and that he did!! Check out his profile!!

7/8/2006 The first of the Raxx shows went off without a hitch, except for mother nature!!! We all got a little wet, but itherwise it was a quickly and smoothly ran show. This was also one of the first night shows that I ran, it wasn't quite dark but is sure gave us a little chance to cool off. Janesville had its first Sanctioned dB Drag today, and by the reaction of the 20+ competitors and strong spectator support this wont be the last!!!

7/7/2006 Well I have been a part of my dads business behind the scenes for many years. I will now be a full time traveling salesman for the John G Weber co. What will I be doing?? 7/6/2006 Well today is a sad day for me. I have been in and or around car audio for almost 12 years. I am no longer affiliated with Sound Mekanix Audio Video Installations. Ironic isn't it. 7/1/2006 A new shop to get on board with us this year is Raxx Loud & Clear. There show is on 7/8/2006 at 5:00 PM. Ben has been in this industry for many years and feels this is a good way to give back to the sport. We are also trying something new this year in having night shows!! Lets all get out and support these retailers!!!

6/26/2006 Do you always thank the retailers that hold these shows??? If not make sure to shoot them an email or call and say thank you or write them a letter……just do it somehow and do it often!!!!!!!! They are the fix for our need of BASS!!!!!!

6/25/2006 Team Wired Audio is from Wired Audio & Alarms in Weston Wi. I am happy to have them hold shows and to have a car out competing. As always we hope to see more of them!!!

6/25/2006 Sound Mekanix Audio Video Installations hosts a 35 car single point show!!! We had some of the best Bass Racing at this show, lets keep the tour rolling in a positive direction!!!! We hope to see everyone out in two weeks!!!!!!!!!

6/24/2006 Sound World of Onalaska managed to muster up 35 cars!!!! What a great show!!! This was the second show at Sound World and with proper advertising they nearly doubled the car count from the first show. Great job jason!! We hope to see you at there next show on Saturday 7/22/2006.

6/23/2006 I want to mention to you something important about some of the products you see people using at the shows. SUPPORT THEM!!! Tell them to support you and your local retailers!!! If you were at any of the last few show I WAS AMAZED at the support that Kenwood, Planet Audio, Memphis, and American Bass has giving some of the retailers and competitors. I am stressing this because without your support at these show these companies won't support the shows, and if the companies don't support the shows their will be allot less shows. Also be sure to stay local to your dealers and show them support and thanks for holding these shows, its all a big circle, and we all have to put in some effort!!! Please DON'T BUY STUFF ON EBAY, buy it form your local retailers!!!!!

6/21/2006 Were back at Sound Mekanix Audio Video Installation for the show on Sunday the 25th. We hope to see most of the locals this weekend as some of the more veteran competitors are heading down south for the big triple point show at Maxxsonics headquarters. If you are heading to Sound Mekanix the show starts at the regular time of 11:00, we hope to see you there!!!!!

6/20/2006 If you read on these pages I have mentioned that there will be a CASH REWARD for the points champion in dB Drag / Bass Race this year. How much you ask???? The CASH REWARD is going to be $250.00 for the overall points champion in each division!!!!! (Bass Race / dB Drag) So now hopefully you have some incentive to try and stay at the top!!!!! Right now the points leaders are Geoff Cayemberg in dB Drag and Kyle Polchinski in Bass Race.

6/19/2006 Did you check out the point battle in Bass Race??? Kyle Polchinski is really laying it out this year so far!!! I hope that some of the others like Josh Williams and Troy Wojciechowski can catch up and give Kyle a run for the Money!!!!!

6/18/2006 Our competitor for the Performance Audio & Restyling show this week is Garry Zimmerman. Garry hails from Wisconsin. He has came on to the scene late but has vaulted right to the top in the 120 -129.9 Bass Race class, Garry we hope to see you coming out to more events in 2006!!

6/18/2006 Performance Audio & Restyling had a great show this weekend, especially considering the holiday. We had a little bit of rain to dampen the morning, but once it cleared up things were smooth sailing. We had 26 cars and a great Bass Race shootout with 2 ties!!!! What a great thing we got here with Bass Race!!! Geoff Cayemberg also re-set the overall state record in Bass Race with a 145.7 dB, Great job Geoff!! I hope to see all of you out for matt's Double Point Event later in the year!!!

6/18/2006 Happy Fathers Day to all you fathers!!! I know I had a great time with my wife and beautiful children this weekend, I am always grateful and happy that I am able to be involved with this great organization, and that my wife lets me do this!!! Again Happy Fathers Day!!!!!!!

6/17/2006 Elmer Dela Cruz and his Brother June are the Competitors of the week from the Kwik Wire Show. Wow these guys are devoted to getting loud!!! Thanks for supporting dB Drag / Bass Race!!!!

6/17/2006 What a great show!!!! Kwik Wire just started in this business and having an open house, car how and stereo competition is a great way to get some exposure!!! There were 2 live radio broadcasts there, free beer and brats, lots of free shirts and stuff, and a solid 20+ competitors in the dB Drag / Bass Race!! A great time was had by all. Also wanted to note that one of our great competitors from the area, Justin Whitty brought out his new competition vehicle. He had a couple different colors that he was going to paint it for people to vote on, I think there was a Silver, Blue, Maroon and Pink. Well when you put a vote in the hands of a bunch of others you never know what your going to get .....Justin's car will be Pink very shortly!!!!!!!

6/14/2006 The second stop this weekend will be on Sunday the 18th, in Green Bay at Performance Audio & Restyling. This is Matt Chilicotes shop, Matt is and has been a huge supporter of dB Drag and has given many years of his time back to competitors and the sport. To thank him for this stop out and check out his shop and a great show on the tour!!!

6/12/2006 The Radio Doctors put on an awesome show!!!!! 45 cars were present at their first show, and it was a packed house!!!! I don't think we could have fit many more cars in there parking lot!!! Matt from The Radio Doctors treated us to a windshield shattering, and Eric handed out some great free stuff!!! All in all it was probable the most fun show I have ran this year, we can't wait for there second show this year!!!! Also I wanted to mention that we had Jeff Brown, Mike Skaritika, and Alex A. up from Illinois to lay it out in street class!! they all took home first place hardware.

6/11/2006 Kyle Polchinski is the competitor of the week for the Wired Audio & Alarms show. I picked Kyle this week because he is the most supportive guy of Bass Race I know of. He has attended EVERY show so far!!!!! Thanks Kyle you deserve it!!!

6/10/2006 We had a 2 hour drive to Madison for the following show so we decided to stay at a campsite. It was a blast seeing 3 SPL guys trying to pitch a tent!!! We will try to do this more often at 2 show weekends, so make sure you check on here or ask us were we're going to stay!!!! By the way it's hard to tell but Geoff Cayemberg came with us and rather than sleeping in a tent he sleep in his port!!! I wish I would have known how to turn his system on!!!!

6/10/2006 WOW!!!!!! What a turn out!!!! 43 cars at the Grand Opening of Wired Audio & Alarms!!! We had a little trouble with the power in the building so we had a late start, but once we got under way it was a blast!!! I do want to bring up to all the competitors if you have any questions about ANYTHING at the shows do not hesitate to ask!!!!! I do my best at these shows to make sure that all of the competitors have FUN!!! By the way Ray and Chris handed out almost two full systems worth of free stuff, and at least 50 shirts and hats, great job guys!!!!!!

6/8/2006 At any of my shows you can become a member of dB Drag / Bass Race. If you plan on being a state record holder, or points champion you will also need a membership!!!! What does a membership get you??? Points accrual towards national level competition, Membership card and voting privileges, official competition CD, Competitor rule book, and a competitor homepage on the award winning dB Drag web site. I'd say for $38 that's a steal!!! email me for a form!!!!

6/7/2006 On Sunday June 11th we will be at the first of 2 shows at The Radio Doctors. This will be their first sanctioned dB Drag show. The Radio Doctors is home of the Loudest Vehicle in Wisconsin for the 2006 season so far!!! Don't miss this show it will be a big one!!!!

6/7/2006 We are going to be at Wired Audio & Alarms on Saturday the 10th and The Radio Doctors on Sunday the 11th. We have a campsite reserved in Madison for Saturday night so that anyone that is attending both shows has a place to stay. Let us know if you need a place to stay, and always Drive Safe!!!!!

6/6/2006 Erika was down from Minnesota to attend Dropfest, she decided to try the stereo show. SHE BEAT ALL THE GUYS IN 120.0 - 129.9!!!! She knocked out 2 veteran Bass Racers in the process!!! WOW this proves again that ANYONE can win in Bass Race, its all about consistency!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

6/5/2006 Troy Wojciechowski is our competitor of the week. Troy wasn't going to compete this weekend because he was worried that he wasn't loud enough, but I think now he's glad he did!!!!

6/4/2006 Dropfest!!!! Day 2 - I had a couple last minute entries on Sunday morning, we went into brackets. I think we got everything done by 3:00.. Again go check out the pictures they speak for themselves!!! I'd have to say that this year is even exceeding my expectations!!! Again thank you to all the new competitors this year and thanks to all the return dB draggers that are making this year unbelievable!!!!

6/3/2006 Dropfest!!!!! Day 1 - Well this is Wisconsin's big car show of the year!!! I was lucky to be part of this event, and I do think we made the best of it!!! I think we had around 65 entries…. WOW….. What a day!!! I'm glad we made this a 2 day event. I want to thank Mike Hughes and Mike Makus for always helping when needed!!!!!

5/29/2006 At the Sound World show I didn't have enough competitors to do Deathmatch, we gotta work on this!!!! Deathmatch is one of the most fun things to watch!! To up the ante, I will have a Deathmatch cash race from now on!! $25 to enter $50 payout to the winner!!!!

5/27/2006 Sound World of Lacrosse hosts 20+ Cars!!! It was the first of 3 shows that Sound World is having, it was hot, and rainy!!! It was nice to see all the local USACi guys out, and we hope to see them all start participating at the dB Drags shows on the schedule!!!

5/26/2006 I forgot to mention the best of show award at the Performance Auto Sounds Show, the best of show winner was Christopher Hill!!! Chris won with his freshly restored 1987 Honda CRX. Chris told me it doesn't have to be pretty to be loud!! I'd have to agree, he took 1st in Street B!!!

5/24/2006 Did you see the points battle shaping up in dB Drag?? As the year progresses things might change but as it sits now Geoff and Ryan are tied at 40 points, and Thee Michael Hughes and Don Keith are tied at 32. From there on down there are 7 other competitors that at any show could gain up enough points to over take the leaders!!!!

5/22/2006 Check out the Deathmatch results page to see who's got the biggest cahonas!!! Deathmatch is 5 Minuets of destruction to audio equipment. I will try to run Deathmatch at every show if time permits!!!

5/21/2006 Our other deathmatch winner today at Performance Auto Sounds was Kyle Polchinski. Kyle has quickly become one of the most consistent Bass Racers so far this year in Wisconsin, today he tried his luck at deathmatch, and WON!!! Good job Kyle !!!

5/21/2006 Sound Decisions Alex drove 5 hrs up from Illinois (by the way the Bears SUCK!!!) and whoops up on the field in Deathmatch and enjoys a hot dog and cold beverage in the process !!! Alex finished up with a 149.9 in Deathmatch, he also won Street C and Bass Race 140-149.9. Alex, next time you'll need to bring an extra trailer just for your trophies!!!!

5/21/2006 Performance Auto Sounds show in Appleton WI hosts 31 dB / Bass Race cars and a solid 35 cars in their 2nd annual car show!!! Free hot dogs and soda, over $700.00 dollars in prizes, and trophies for the car stereo show make this stop on the 2006 Wisconsin dB Drag tour one of the most exciting to date!! We also managed to muster up two full Deathmatches, one for Bass Race and one for dB Drag!!

5/20/2006 Glen Tackes Jr is the featured competitor from today's show. Glen took 1st place in Bass Race and 1st Place in dB Drag at the Skills USA Show!!!! Good Job!!!

5/20/2006 Deathmatch Winner …..again!!!!! Thee Michael Hughes and Ryan Ferguson duked it out for the whole 5 minuets with Mike winning by .8 in the last few seconds!! Scores were Mike 144.5 , Ryan 143.7, Baldemar 132.7, and Glen with a 132.5!!!

5/20/2006 2nd Annual Skills USA Car Show and dB Drag show!!! Show had about 100 car show contestants and we had 25 dB Drag / Bass Race cars!! I was a little short handed without Mike at this show so we didn’t get very many pictures… so if you have any let me know!!! We also had a VERY close race in deahmatch, and NO RAIN!!!!

5/18/2006 I just got in our new computer. We are switching from our laptop to a new tower so it has more USB connections. I will also start getting certificates printed out with our new printer if time permits!!!! In the next few weeks we will also be adding a 26" monitor so you can see Bass Race better!!!!

5/16/2006 Sundays Show is at Performance Auto Sound in Appleton. We did a show for them in 2005 for their Grand Opening and it was awesome!! I spoke with Bryan today and he said to expect a BIG turn out, as always lets hope for no rain!!!

5/16/2006 Saturdays show is at the Fond du Lac High School and is being hosted by Skills USA. The show is being sponsored by Sound Mekanix Audio Video Installations. Let's hope that we have no rain and a great turnout!!! Last year there was 20+ dB Draggers.

5/9/2006 Deathmatch winner this weekend was Thee Michael Hughes, Mike is also one of the dB Drag Judges you will see at my shows. Mike won Deathmatch by .3 tenths of a dB. Good showing Mike!!

5/9/2006 Josh Williams is our featured competitor from this weekend. Josh is on a 2 show win streak and he shows no signs of letting up!!!

5/7/2006 Performance Audio & Restyling had 47 CARS at a single point!!! Show was a blast!!! 637 cars were entered at the gate for the car show, it was so packed they had to turn cars away!!! NWTC / Performance Audio & Restyling thanks you for attending!!!! Top score of the day and New State Record went to The Radio Doctors with a 161.7 dB!!!

4/30/2006 Show at Sound Mekanix Audio Video installations had 43 Cars, free food and drinks, great spectator turnout, and a whole lota rain!!! Show went off a little slow at the start, but once we got the cars arranged in the parking lot we ripped thru the brackets!! We even had enough time to have Alex from Sound Decisions of Illinois show us all how to win deathmatch, Alex won with a 150.1 (deathmatch is a 5 minute average)!!!!!

4/28/2006 TWO DAYS AWAY!!!!! The 2006 dB Drag / Bass Race Season starts in Wisconsin with a Double Point Show at Sound Mekanix Audio Video Installations!!!! Lets hope for no rain!!!!

4/14/2006 Sound Mekanix Productions just got in our new 10 x 10 EZ-Up Enterprise tent and side rails, this will help shade us from the sun and rain, so no matter what the show will go on!!!!.
4/12/2006 Sound Mekanix Productions orders in 600 watt PA System and wireless mics so spectators can hear what's going on better at the shows. We also purchased XM Radio so music is playing in the background all the time.
4/6/2006 Sound Mekanix Productions purchased new 24 light dB Drag Racing trees, they still need to be assembled but we will have them up and running soon!!!!!
4/4/2006 Sound Mekanix Productions bought a new 6 x 12 trailer to haul all our gear!!
2/24/2006 Sound Mekanix Productions adds new dB tower to make the show more visible and to have better head to head dB Drag Racing. Thanks go out to Doug Stockton from Sonix FX for letting us get your spare!!!
